What is a parked domain?

A parked domain is a domain that simply redirects users to a different domain. For instance, if you had both the domains lawnmowers.com.au and rideonmowers.com.au and wanted rideonmowers.com.auto point to lawnmowers.com.au, you would park the rideonmowers.com.au domain and have it redirect visitors to lawnmowers.com.au. So typing www.rideonmowers.com.au into your web browser would then load the www.lawnmowers.com.au website.

Parked domains enable you to have multiple domains displaying the same information, but without having to maintain different websites.
